Today's ride was from Peach Springs to Ash Fork
A good sunrise for starting out from the Grand Canyon Caverns. Well actually this was on my way to a continental breakfast provided by the motel.
Several miles down the road I met Cary and Sheila they are riding from central Florida to Alaska. Cary said that they had already been on the road 63 days.
Along this stretch of Route 66 there were a dozen or more series of signs put up by maybe, but not sure... "Burma-Shave" Each series of signs have a different saying. But they all end with the "Burma-Shave" sign.
This guy chose the wrong place to get warm. I think it was a King snake or a Gofer snake. He was about 4 foot long.
In the next couple of pictures, note the condition of the shoulder of the road

Check out the flags, that isn't a tailwind
There are lots of shops in Seligman. I stopped for a meal, I wanted breakfast and at the Lilo's I had a great breakfast.

Another good day of riding. The winds early in the day were crosswind tending to a headwind some of the time but after the 12:00 breakfast the wind shifted to sometime a tailwind.
The Burma Shave signs were so much fun to read on road trips when I was a kid.
