Weekend in Flagstaff.
I took a couple of days off in Flagstaff. Maria came up from Tucson and we spent the time together.
Saturday morning we went to a breakfast place recommended by the desk clerk at the hotel. The food was very good.
And as you can tell we are selfie challenged, but you get the idea...
In Williams there is a steam-engine locomotive train that goes up the the South Rim of the Grand Canyon the first Saturday of each month. The rest of the time there is a diesel locomotive train ride that makes the same trip.
Note: Williams was the last large town on Route 66 that was bypassed by Interstate 40
We're not selfie challenged... it was the wind! ;) Flagstaff and Williams are a lot of fun with great restaurants to feed our inner fat kids. (I took the food pics) Thanks for taking a couple of days off for me. I had a Superb weekend with you!
