Today's ride was from Chambers,Az to Gallup,NM
Today's ride was the easiest ride for several days. The wind today was a 10 - 15 mph tailwind the entire ride. This was the first ride I didn't have a death grip on the handlebar in about a week. It was a cool ride. It was only 30 degrees when I started and got all the way up to 47 by the time I arrived at the hotel in Gallup
The ride started on the frontage road for 7 miles then 15 miles on Interstate 40 then back onto a side road all the way to Gallup, NM. There was almost no car or truck traffic along the frontage road which made it pleasant riding. I started riding earlier than normal because of the forecast of rain. I wanted to get to Gallup before the rain started. As it turned out the rain did not start until late afternoon.
the ever-present trains
