Tuesday 28 July

Today's ride is from Harris Beach State Park to Crescent City, CA. When i checked in at the campground i asked where there was a good place for breakfast.  Both ladies in the booth said Matty's Pancake House in Brookings. They said it opens at 7 and I should be there early. I left the campground at 7 and stopped for some energy snacks and got to the restaurant at 7:40.. I got seated right away but by 8 there was a line of people waiting to get in. The food was good, but too much food. I could not finish.  

 The ride for the most part today was flat. It started on the coast and went inland through farm country. 



The joke back in 1973, someone modified a similar sign on I10 and added "And Now Go Home"

    I'll be in Pacific Grove tomorrow, 8-11-15, through 8-15-15 (check out in the early AM).

    I'd love to buy you breakfast/lunch/dinner if you make it to the Monterey/Pacific Grove/Carmel area during my stay. Mi casa es su casa, as well. I've got a sub-zero star motel on Asilomar State Beach. I've heard the room has a shower and a fridge.

    Chuck L - Bob what is the total milage for your trip to date? I can't believe you are already in CA! Great pictures! Looks like you are dropping weight you might look like Stevie soon!
