When I checked into the motel yesterday iasked the lady where there was someplace good for breakfast. She said the Snug Harbor Bar and Grill has great biscuits and gravy. Not being much of a biscuits n gravy person I wasn't to sure. Anyways I ate there and ordered a half order of biscuits n gravy with a couple of eggs. It was excellent!
Headed down the road, a very hazy morning
I have received lots of comments about the amount of stuff on my bike. This couple has a little more. He has two bags on front and two in back with stuff on top of the rack. She has almost as much stuff AND He is pulling a Burly trailer full of stuff. Maybe they are moving😊
A few days ago when I stayed at Cape Lookout campground I met some that is a Arizona snowbird. His name is Gale. We met again in Pacific City and had a very late breakfast. We were riding at a different pace and stopping at different locations, so we did not ride together. Today we came across each other and stopped for coffee.
Gale had met a couple of young ladies that were riding $180.00 bikes they purchased at Target and are heading to San Francisco
A few pictures of the coast.
Depoe, Oregon is a small town that claims to have the smallest natural harbor. There is a cut in the rocks that create a natural harbor. There is a bridge over this cut that Hwy 101goes over. Here are a couple of pictures from the bridge
About a mile past depoe a small single lane road followed the coast to Cape Foulweather, which is one of the windiest points on the Oregon coast.

there are lots of wave formed arches along the coast |
This is Devil's punchbowl which is supposed to be spectacular to watch at high tide and high waves coming directly from the west. |
