Monday 27 July

The weather for the last 10 to 14 days has been great cycling weather. Start out mid to upper 50's and end the day in the upper 70's. The humidity has been high but, this isn't Camelot. There has been light morning wind out of the south then turning east then north - northwest.  Some afternons the wind has been 20+ mph out of the north. A great way to finish off a day of riding

Today's ride is from Gold Beach to Harris Beach State Park.

I got an early start because there is a 1100 ft climb a few miles down the road. Still great views along the coast

No pictures going up the hill or back down the other side but more ocean views

This is called Arch Rock

Natural Bridges Cove. Supposed to be spectacular at high tide and waves directly from the west.

  1. Tom Seino - Bob,
Welcome to California! The land of barbeque's galore. Just one great big hibachi. You thinking of maybe turning around and riding back up the coast?
Awesome trek! Super pictures and great stories! Bummer about all of your issues with Squarespace.
    Take care & be safe.
    Aloha,
