Today's route was from Elk City, OK to Hinton, OK
The ride today went through different scenery. From the open plains to rolling hills.
In Weatherford, as I entered the town center I kept hearing country western music. I was most of the way through town before I figured out where the music was coming from. All of the light poles in town had speakers mounted on them.

The next few pictures are from Route 66 between Waterford and Bridgeport. A very scenic area.
Today, I met Eric. He is from Switzerland. He is riding Route 66 from Chicago to Santa Monica.
The ride today was very enjoyable. The first day in a long time with little or no wind. The road had very little car traffic and great scenery.

ReplyDeleteWell that's a special level of hell I hope I never find myself in!
I agree with “akhuffaker”—-that would be awful! Those nice rolling hills look like fun.
