Today's ride was from Carthage, MO to Springfield, MO
On the outskirts of Carthage was this old place that at one time sold tires.
The road with a new bike lane
When I passed this bull he was banging his head against the hanging 55 Gal drum. I wanted to take a short video of him but all he did was look at me then make lots of noise.
New pavement for about 5 miles
The end of the new pavement. I was glad this was a Sunday with very little traffic. Some idiot traffic engineer decided it was a good idea to put a rumble strip to the right of the white line.
The entire town of Spencer, MO
The bridge leaving town

Old gas station and cars in Paris Spring, MO. Last pumped gas in 1955.
First crop of hay
Route 66
The route from here entered Springfield, MO with busy city streets. I didn't take anymore pictures today.
Enjoy the rolling hills of southern Missouri!
