The ride today was from Marshfield, MA to Cataumet, MA
The campground I was staying at was on an east facing beach so I started getting light very early, and wanting to get in as many miles as possible before it got hot, I was on the road by 5:45.
After I packed the bike, I took an early morning picture from the beach
Salt water marsh lands. This was near low tide
As the tide comes in, these boats will again be floating.

Never to early for Ice Cream

More hills to get over.

The Sagamore Bridge. One of two identical bridges. The only way to drive to Cape Cod.
Cape Cod Canal. How to get to you favorite fishing spot that might be a mile or more from your car.
Lots of people trying to catch Striped Bass.
Another way to get your fishing gear to your favorite fishing spot
The Bourne Bridge. The last hill until I get to my sisters house

GOOD size Striped Bass
Picture taken from the Bourne Bridge. That is the train bridge. The center section goes down to allow trains to cross the Cape Cod canal then it is raised to allow boats to pass.

And a special thanks to a Tuesday Rider that gave me a lucky charm. It only filled up with water once during my three month trip.
Thanks for sharing your trip. I enjoyed your posts immensely. Congratulations!
