Marshfield, MA to Cataumet, MA

Saturday 30 June 2018

The ride today was from Marshfield, MA to Cataumet, MA

The campground I was staying at was on an east facing beach so I started getting light very early, and wanting to get in as many miles as possible before it got hot, I was on the road by 5:45.

After I packed the bike, I took an early morning picture from the beach

Salt water marsh lands.  This was near low tide

As the tide comes in, these boats will again be floating.

Never to early for Ice Cream

More hills to get over.

The Sagamore Bridge.  One of two identical bridges.  The only way to drive to Cape Cod.

Cape Cod Canal. How to get to you favorite fishing spot that might be a mile or more from your car.

Lots of people trying to catch Striped Bass.

Another way to get your fishing gear to your favorite fishing spot

The Bourne Bridge.  The last hill until I get to my sisters house

This surly has been an EPIC ADVENTURE.  I've seen lots of beautiful country side, eaten meals in some really great, small restaurants,  and most importantly I have met some really wonderful people along the way.  Thanks to everyone that gave me encouragement that kept me going, I really have some very special people in my life.

And a special thanks to a Tuesday Rider that gave me a lucky charm.  It only filled up with water once during my three month trip.
